And my word for the Year of the Horse is ‘Restore’. Sounds a wee bit of a soft word for the forward-moving energy of the year ahead of us. But here’s the twist – after flicking through my many dictionaries I discovered restore means ‘to give back to the original owner’ and this was the exact sense I received when this word was revealed to me. It’s more a remembering of and restoring my youness and my lineage. And after doing some further pondering teal popped up as the associated colour.
